- Messages and notifications, including in-app chat messages, friend requests, team requests, match applications, and notification records.
- Device-related information needed for notifications, such as push notification device tokens.
- Reports, blocks, and moderation-related submissions that you create inside the app.2. How We Use Your InformationWe use your information to:- create and manage your account
- show your player profile to other users
- enable match, team, friend, and chat features
- send in-app and push notifications
- help users connect with each other inside the app
- maintain app safety, prevent abuse, and handle reports or blocked users
- improve app functionality and reliability3. How Your Information Is SharedSome profile and activity information is visible to other users of Matchup as part of the app’s core functionality. For example, other users may see your username, profile details, team participation, or match-related activity where relevant.We do not sell your personal data.We may use trusted service providers to operate the app infrastructure, such as:- Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and backend services
- Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications
- Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple, if you choose those login methodsThese providers process data only as needed to provide their services to the app.4. Data RetentionWe keep your data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to operate the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.Certain records related to past matches, safety, or moderation may be retained where necessary to preserve app integrity and historical activity.5. Account DeletionYou can request deletion of your account from within the app.When your account is deleted:
- your account access is removed
- your profile is anonymized or removed where applicable
- some historical records may be retained in a non-identifiable or limited form for system integrity, safety, or match history purposes6.
